Vergil is the main antagonist of the Devil May Cry series, and one of the two playable characters, the other being Dante.
Teleport to a fighter that has the most damage inflicted, and slashes them with Yamato.
Steps back and cuts the air in front of him through a dimensional rift in a sphere shape. Don't use this move when near the edge, you will fall.
Throws Force Edge (his sword) which travels a certain distance and returns to him after a while. If used with Trick, the sword will follow Vergil. When thrown, it will stay on the ground for some time so other fighters can pick it up and use it.
Charges towards a direction, slashing.
For some time, Vergil will transform to his Devil Trigger mode, and he has increased speed, strength, and can stay in the air for longer periods of time. If able to perform a final smash in this mode, he will use his Devil Trigger Final Smash.
Devil Trigger Final SmashEdit
(Only can be activated in Devil Trigger.)
Vergil slashes the opponent various times. Vergil then turns his back as he returns into his human form, sheathes Yamato and skewers the opponent with floating swords. This move will hit anywhere close to Vergil. When the move is over, the opponent is left in a crumple state that allows Vergil to follow up with a full combo. Performing this move at any point during the Devil Trigger will end it prematurely.
"...Rest in peace."
